The star revealed why she joined Def Leppard for a performance of their Photograph hit at the Taylor Hawkins tribute show.
Miley Cyrus shared a voicemail left to her by Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins, who she revealed was her neighbour.
The singer-songwriter was one of the artists to perform at the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Tuesday (27th September).
Cyrus joined Def Leppard for a performance of their Photograph anthem and the next day, she took to Twitter to explain why.
In an audio clip posted to the platform Hawkins can be heard saying: "What up Miley? It's Taylor. I heard you're moving. Where? I'm listening to Photograph by Def Leppard. You could kill that one. Make Chaney learn that."
Cyrus captioned the message: "A personal request from the legend himself. #TaylorHawkins 📷 my friend, my idol…. My neighbor. Growing up on a farm I never could see the light of another house nearby, but living by Taylor for the years that I did out in LA were some of the most fun times of my life."
