Manic Street Preachers to play classic album at Cardiff Castle in 2019

The Welsh rockers will play the homecoming gig as part of their This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours 20th anniversary tour.

Manic Street Preachers have announced a huge homecoming gig for 2019.

James Dean Bradfield and co will play Cardiff Castle on Saturday 29 June 2019 as part of their This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours 20th Anniversary tour.

Tickets go on sale on Friday 30 November from 9.30am.

The Welsh band's classic 1998 album debuted at No. 1 on the UK chart and included the singles If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next and You Stole The Sun From My Heart.

The album's 20 year anniversary will also be marked by a reissue, which will include a extra demos, remixes and B-Sides.

The outfit also announced tour dates last month, which will take place in May next year.
