WATCH: Courteeners' Liam Fray calls Gerry Cinnamon his "hero"

The Not Nineteen Forever rocker shared a video of himself with the Scottish singer-songwriter, who is supporting the band on tour.

Liam Fray has praised Gerry Cinnamon, who he says has been his "hero" for a long while.

The Courteeners frontman shared a video of himself going home after the band's Nottingham gig on Monday (19 November), only to reveal that the Scottish sensation had crept into his car at 3am.

Watch the video above, which the Not Nineteen Forever singer simply captioned: "Tour".

In the video Fray says to the camera: "Listen this man's fucking killing it. He's been my hero for fucking ages, but now he's everyone else's new hero..."

Their Nottingham gig saw them play a stomping 18-track set, which included songs from across their five studio albums.
