Creep was the song that broke Radiohead in the UK, US and just about everywhere. However, the anthem of self-loathing turned out to bear a similarity to the song The AIr That I Breathe, as recorded by The Hollies in 1973 and written by Mike Hazelwood and Albert Hammond, father of the Strokes guitarist. Legal action followed and Hazelwood and Hammond now receive a writing credit.
