See Alt-J On Tour By The Sea This September

The band mark the release of their third album Relaxer with a string of special shows.

Alt-J are to head out on a five-date UK tour in September.

The tour will follow the release of the band’s third album Relaxer, their headline show at London’s O2 Arena for the venue’s 10th birthday celebrations on 16 June, and a huge summer of UK and international shows, including Glastonbury Festival and headline performances at Bluedot and Boardmasters to name a few.

The band say: “This September we'll be taking a few trips to the seaside, playing gigs in Brighton, Margate, Bournemouth, Weston-super-Mare and Blackpool. Fish and chips, penny arcades and RELAXER... See you there?”

The September tour dates are:

4 September - Brighton Centre, Brighton
5 September - Dreamland, Margate
6 September - O2 Academy, Bournemouth
8 September - Grand Pier, Weston-super-Mare
9 September - Empress Ballroom, Blackpool
