Terms And Conditions

RULES
•    The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.radiox.co.uk/terms-conditions/ (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘War Child’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from : Monday 20th January  to Thursday 23rd January 2020 on Radio X (the “Radio Station”).
•    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  

Details of the Competition:
•    To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message as directed by the presenter on air to the number given out by the presenter on air (83936)
 
•    Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.

•    Entrants will need to text WIN, their name, plus their answer to the number given out by the presenter on air. There will be one competition round each day, with four competition rounds in total across the week.

•    Any entries received before or after being instructed will not go into the draw but may still be charged as per the entrant’s standard network rate.

•    One correct entrant from each competition round will be selected at random from all eligible entries and awarded as the winner. The winner will be brought to air to be awarded the Prize.

•    All Entrants selected to play will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation may be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over or cannot continue the call for any reason the call may be terminated, and another Entrant selected at random.

•    The prize is personal to the winner and cannot be transferred by the winner to anyone else. If the Event is postponed, the guest list will transfer to the new date, no alternative prize shall be offered.

Eligibility:
•    All entrants must be aged 18 or over.
•    Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
Prize:
•    Each winner will win tickets to the shows below, depending on the day they win.
Each winner will also receive £100 spending money to go towards their travel expenses which they will receive via cheque.

Monday: 4 x pair of tickets for Foals
Tuesday: 2 x pairs of tickets for Gang of Youths
Wednesday: 2 x pairs of tickets for Bastille
Thursday: 2 x pairs of tickets for Bombay Bicycle Club
£100 Travel on each night

Prize Terms & Conditions:
The general prize draw is open to applicants aged 18 and over (at the time of entry).
Venue specific age restrictions will still apply, and entry will be refused if not accordance with venue policy. It’s the entrant’s responsibility to check the venue’s age restrictions.

Global cannot take responsibility for any artist delay or cancellation.
