Terms And Conditions

Terms and conditions for the competition currently running on Radio X.

RULES 

1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.radiox.co.uk/terms-conditions/ (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘KFC’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Monday 19th August to Friday 23rd August on Radio X (the “Radio Station”). 

2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. Details of the Competition: 

3. To enter the Competition an entrant must send a text message and keyword to the number given on-air (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air. 

4. One caller will be selected at random from all correct and eligible entries and will be brought to air to play. 

5. The caller will automatically be awarded £250. They will then have the opportunity to answer 3 questions with each correct answer giving them the chance to double their cash prize up to the value of £2,000, as stated by the Presenter on air. At any stage they can stick with what they have already won or twist for the next question. If the caller decides to twist and get the answer wrong, they will lose everything. 

6. Players will have 5 seconds to give the correct answer to each question, which will be heard on air by a timer. 

7. In the event that the first person attempts a question, gets it wrong and doesn’t win anything – we will pick the next person at random from the original pool of entries. Repeated attempts are at the producers discretion. 

8. All Entrants selected to play on air will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation may be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over, cannot continue the call for any reas1on or the phone line is not of a suitable quality for broadcast (at the discretion of the producer) the call may be terminated, and another Entrant selected at random. 

9. There will be a total of five competition rounds between Monday 19th August – Friday 23rd August on the Radio X network. One competition round will take place each day between 0630-1000. 

Eligibility: 

10. Entrants must be 18 or over to be eligible to win. 

11. Entry is restricted to one entry per person, per day; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition. Prizes: 

12. One winner each day could win: £250, £500, £1,000 or £2,000 subject to the rules of clause 5. 

13. If they choose to twist for the next question and answer correctly, the cash prize value goes up as stated above. 

14. The cash will be fulfilled as a cheque by the Radio Station within 28 days of the competition end date. 

15. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion
