The work of Wes Anderson is being paid tribute to in album form.

The unmistakable director is behind The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, The Darjeeling Limited, Moonrise Kingdom, Bottlerocket, The Fantastic Mr Fox, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zizzou and the upcoming The Grant Budapest Hotel.

The record - called I Saved Latin! (a reference to one of the achievements of Rushmore's main character Max Fischer) - features various artists covering songs which have featured in Wes Anderson movies.

The record is out next spring and will come in various bundles with movie related extras including a Team Zissou beanie, a Khaki Scouts badge, a Max Fischer business card and movie related t-shirts.
