The UN is trying to find the songs that make people smile in time for Friday's International Day Of Happiness - and they want your suggestions.

The United Nations is trying to raise awareness of International Day Of Happiness, which takes place on Friday this week, by working out a playlist of the world's happiest songs.

The slightly-odd sounding day was first launched in 2012 but this year will see music given a more central role in celebrations. Musicians including Ed Sheeran, James Blunt and John Legend will help finalise the playlist.

The head of the UN, Ban Ki-moon, has nominated Stevie Wonder's Signed, Sealed, Delivered for the list already.

Music fans are being encouraged to make their suggestions online with the hashtag #HappySoundsLike, with five selections being chosen by the end of the week.
