Boy, 16, stabbed to death in Small Heath, Birmingham

Police have begun a murder investigation after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Birmingham.
Despite the "best efforts of medics", the teenager died at the scene on Herbert Road in the Small Heath area of the city.
Another boy, 15, was treated for minor injuries, officers said.
West Midlands Police, who were called at about 8pm, said: "A 16-year-old boy was found critically injured having suffered stab wounds.
"Despite the best efforts of medics he was pronounced dead at the scene."
Detective Chief Inspector Edward Foster said: "The investigation is in its early stages and we are keen to hear from anyone who was in Herbert Road or Sara park just before 8pm last night."
