Tributes are pouring in for Inspiral Carpets drummer, Craig Gill, following the tragic news of his passing.
The music world has expressed their shock at the announcement, and sent their love to the family of Gill and the iconic Manchester band.
Liam Gallagher was among those who led the tweets, writing: "Stunned by the news of the death of Gilly my heart goes out to his family and band members LIVE FOREVER LG x"

Gallagher's Oasis bandmate Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs added that his "friend" would "be missed".
The Charlatans Tim Burgess echoed his sentiments, sending his love to Craig's family and the band.

The band announced the sad news of his passing today (22 November), calling Craig their "brother" and "the beating heart of the Inpsirals in more ways than one".

Radio X DJ and band member Clint Boon told Radio X he always considered Gill the best musician in the band.
Inspirals Guitarist Graham Lambert wrote on Instagram: "Gone but will never be forgotten. Love you Craig Gill. Rest peacefully."
Stephen Holt posted a photo of the late drummer, with the caption: "Father Husband Son Brother Friend x".
