The Kiss From A Rose singer captured the moment on Facebook Live, before inviting Poppy to open for him at Bridgewater Hall.

Seal has given an unknown busker a taste of the spotlight, after seeing her perform.

After watching Poppy Waterman-Smith performing in Manchester Piccadilly, the Kiss From A Rose singer decided not only to share the moment with his fans on Facebook Live, but also get a few duets in too.

Watch the busker in action and see them play Bob Marley's I Shot The Sheriff, below:

Speaking to the Brighton singer, Seal said: "The reason I'm here is because I was in Montreal about three days ago and I stumbled across a busker who was really amazing and had a really beautiful voice, and I listened to him for about an hour.

"And I realised the only difference between him and myself is I had the opportunity".

He added: "And I figure with some people, maybe they didn't seize the opportunity or that opportunity hasn't come around just yet."

Watch them play Bob Marley's Redemption Song, before treating the crowd to a rendition of his worldwide hit, Kiss From A Rose:

If that wasn't life-changing enough - Seal allowed Poppy to open for him at his gig in the city that night.

As Seal mentioned in the video, she's not the first person he's been impressed by recently, also meeting a busker in Canada who blew him away.
