The shoegaze legends, who reunited earlier this year for a brief tour and a handful of festival dates, have confirmed they’ll continue playing together - and have added a full UK tour to their schedule.

In a post on Facebook, the band said: "We’ve been on the road the last couple of months and really enjoyed it. ...From the crowd reactions, you seemed to enjoy it too. To top it all, music critics seemed to like it - multiple 5* reviews can’t be bad! SO, how can we stop there?"

11 October – O2 Academy, Leeds
12 October - UEA, Norwich
14 October – O2 Academy Brixton, London
15 October – O2 Academy, Liverpool
17 October – Anson Rooms, Bristol
18 October – O2 Academy, Newcastle
19 October – Corn Exchange, Edinburgh
21 October - Rock City, Nottingham
22 October – The Institute, Birmingham

The band, featuring singer Mark Gardener and guitarist Andy Bell, who latterly played with Oasis and Beady Eye, split acrimoniously in 1996.

There is an O2 Priority pre-sale on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 June , while general sale: Friday 19 June at 9am.
