Influential shoegaze band Ride's hugely successful comeback continues to impress, with new dates announced for Oxford and two shows in the US.
It's not that long since Ride announced they were getting back together for a tour of some of their favourite venues. They're now adding three new shows to their plans, including a gig in Oxford this Sunday.
The 5 April show will see the band play Oxford's O2 Academy, before they head off to the US. They'll be playing a warm-up show at the Roxy in Los Angeles on 8 April, right before they rock the huge Coachella festival.
In New York, the band's Terminal 5 show sold out long ago, so fans will be delighted that they've now added a second date in the Big Apple. On 1 June, the group will perform at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn.
Tickets for the Oxford date are on sale now, with the Roxy show going on sale later today and the Brooklyn date available on 3 April.
The band split acrimoniously in 1996, but the original line-up - including Andy Bell who later joined Oasis and Beady Eye - has patched up their differences to embark on this new tour.
