Pixies Man To Take Part In Live Interview

Ex-Radio X broadcasting legend and DJ Dave Haslam will be interviewing Pixies frontman Black Francis as part of his “Close Up” series of live onstage conversations.

In previous sessions Dave has interviewed Bernard Sumner, Will Self, Jarvis Cocker and many more.

Black will be answering questions from the audience, as well as chatting about his life, work,
and new material.

EP-1 was released on September 3 and included four new tracks. It was the band’s first new release in nearly a decade.

The event takes place Wednesday November 20 at Albert Hall in Manchester. Tickets cost £12 and go on sale this Friday, September 20.

Pixies will be performing at the iTunes Festival at the Roundhouse in Camden on Wednesday. Radio X will be broadcasting the gig live from 9pm.
