Gallagher dedicated the Oasis song to the late icon at the SSE Hydro last night.
Noel Gallagher has paid tribute to Prince, following the news of his tragic passing last night (21 April).
The Oasis man was playing a concert at Glasgow's SSE Hydro, when he stopped the gig to pay homage to the star with a moving rendition of Live Forever.
According to Micky Welch, Gallagher told the crowd: "We did an album called Standing on the Shoulders of Giants - one of those giants was Prince".

The Daily Record also reports that Gallagher also paid tribute by playing Prince's Let's Go Crazy track at the start of the gig.
