Noah And The Whale

Noah And The Whale's stolen equipment has been recovered - in a barn.

The band lost a trailer full of instruments and other live kit following a show in Manchester on September 30 last year.

Following an appeal - including an All Points Bulletin from Radio X's very own Clint Boon - most of the items have been located in a barn in Lincolnshire.

The BBC reports that the barn's owner was persuaded to store the items after the thieves encountered problems with their transport. When the men didn't return for the kit, the name "Noah And The Whale" stencilled on the cases tipped the owner off to the actual provenance of the stuff.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and have been bailed until January 23.
