It’s another day for New Order news. They will go on tour in Europe this winter with an extra date now added… and their new album will have some very special guests.
For the forthcoming album Music Complete, which is released on 25 September, the ‘Order have enlisted the help of long time fan Brandon Flowers, who will appear on the track Superheated.
As you’ll dimly recall, The Killers got their name from the fictitious band in the video to New Order’s Crystal, back in 2001.
The track Stray Dog will feature none other than Iggy Pop - the Stooge is a hero to New Order, and a firm favourite of the late Joy Division singer Ian Curtis.
Also appearing on three tracks - Tutti Frutti, People On The High Line and Plastic - is Elly Jackson, better known as La Roux.
To support the album, New Order will play the following European shows, now with an extra London date:
NEW ORDER – NOVEMBER EUROPEAN TOUR DATES
4 November - Paris, Casino de Paris
6 November - Brussels, Ancienne Belgique
8 November - Stockholm, Annexet
