James announce first full-length album in six years
The legendary Manchester band are set to return in June with their first full-length album since 2008's Hey Ma.
Recorded with Killers, Muse and White Lies producer Max Dingel, the album sees singer Tim Booth comes to terms with the death of his mother and best friend in quick succession. The band are keen to stress, however, that La Petite Mort is "incredibly uplifting".
The band are set to headline one night at Summer in the City at Manchester's Castlefield Bowl on 11 July, with more festivals and a UK arena tour to be announced shortly.
A teaser from the album, Frozen Britain, is available to listen to here and will be released as a single on 31 March. La Petite Mort is released on 2 June.
