Metallica To Release Bataclan Live Album For Record Store Day

Metallica have been announced as ambassadors for Record Day 2016 and are planning to release a live Bataclan album.

The Enter Sandman rockers will commemorate the November terrorist attacks with Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite, Metallica!, which features a live recording from their gig at the Paris venue on 11 June 2003.

All proceeds from the album will be donated to the French charity, Give For France fund.

Last year's Record Store Day ambassador was Dave Grohl, while 2015's highest-selling record was Metallica's cassette-issued demos collection, No Life Til Leather.
