Johnny Marr: It's Likely I'll have Another Album Next Year

The former Smiths axeman is confident that more new music could come as early as next year.
Johnny Marr was in speaking with Radio X's Danielle Perry when he was asked about new music. Following the question that, considering he's already made 2 albums in 2 years, can we expect a third, Marr said "Considering how me and the band are and the music that we're making, it's quite likely that I will. We'll start going out and playing all these songs, do this tour, then I might do a couple of singles.
"I use to like that when The Smiths used to do that between records. It doesn't seem like so much of a common thing these days…That idea of just putting a track out for the sake of it, with a nice b-side and an extra track, I don't see any reason why I can't do that too. That feels like a good idea to me."
This certainly sounds exciting, as some of the singles that The Smiths released that were never on albums include Panic, This Charming Man, Ask, Shoplifters Of The World Unite and loads of others.
