Interpol have confirmed they will release their fifth studio album in 2014.
They are currently over here working on the follow up to 2010's Interpol (we're promised more details on the record soon).
It has also been announced that they will headline the NME Awards Tour 2014, with Temples, Royal Blood and Circa Waves also on the bill for the eight dates in March.
"We currently find ourselves in the UK finishing the new album so it feels only appropriate to announce our first UK dates of 2014 from here," Daniel Kessler said.
"We're pleased to say that we'll be headlining this year's NME Awards Tour. We had a great time playing the Awards Tour in 2003 and we're very much looking forward to our return. It should be a lot of fun. The UK crowds are among the best!"
