Inspiral Carpets announce December tour

The Inspiral Carpets have announced an eleven date tour for this December.

The band will release their fifth studio album - their first in two decades - this September on Cherry Red Records.

The self-titled new record was recorded at Airtight Studios in Manchester. The album boasts the forthcoming single Spitfire, while Manchester Punk Poet John Cooper-Clarke has co-written and performed on the song Let You Down.

"We're really pleased to be playing a tour of this length which will take us around the country. We’re on good form, don’t miss out,"Stephen Holt commented.

Clint Boon added, "In what is already looking like our biggest year since 1994, T In The Park and Isle Of Wight festivals, gigs in Spain, Italy and now we’re really looking forward to the UK tour in December. Happy days in Inspiral World xxx"

Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday (18 July) at 9am.
