The Aussie psych band were left almost speechless when picking up the award.

Tame Impala have picked up the award for International Group at the BRIT Awards 2016.

The Aussie outfit beat U2, Eagles Of Death Metal, Major Lazer and Alabama Shakes to take home the honour.

The Australian psychedelic rock band seemed visibly stunned by their win, with frontman Kevin Parker unsure of where to look when giving their acceptance speech.

The collective, from Perth, Western Australia, have released three studio albums since they formed in 2008, with 2015's Currents hitting No.3 on the UK album chart.
