The singer and guitarist was 89 years old.

Iconic blues guitarist BB King has died, aged 89. It is reported that he passed away during the night (Thursday 14th) in Las Vegas. King was famous for his deep, raspy voices and his signature guitar style that helped define the blues.

As well as being a Music Hall Of Fame inductee, King collaborated with a wealth of artists; including Eric Clapton, John Lee Hooker and U2. His U2 track, When Love Comes To Town, was used in their film Rattle & Hum.
