It was a huge night for rock at the awards ceremony, with Beck winning the biggest prize of the year while Hozier and AC/DC brought the house down with their performances.
In a huge upset at last night's Grammys, Beck won the biggest prize of the year when he scooped the Best Album gong for Morning Phase.
Kanye West mounted the stage in an apparent repeat of his notorious antics at the 2009 Video Music Awards, but then returned to his seat. Afterwards the rapper said Beck should give his award to Beyoncé, another nominee in the big category.
Beck also won the Best Rock Album category, beating out The Black Keys, U2, Tom Petty and Ryan Adams. Best Rock Song was won by Paramore for Ain't It Fun, with Jack White's Lazaretto being awarded Best Rock Performance.
Breakthrough star Hozier performed Take Me To Church and I Put A Spell On You with Annie Lennox in one of the performances of the night, while AC/DC played Rock or Bust and Highway To Hell to open the show.
