Reports suggest frontman Julian Casablancas will air the band's new material on his radio show.

The Strokes are set to release new music today, according to reports.

In an audio clip tweeted out by The Strokes Brazil, a DJ suggests frontman Julian Casablancas is said to be "world premiering brand new music" from the band on the first episode of his SiriusXM radio show.

Meanwhile, The Strokes logo has also made appearances on this side of the pond, appearing on a wall in London's Brick Lane.

Earlier this week, Albert Hammond Junior - who was asked if the band were set to play any new music at a New York festival - told a fan "you'll just have to wait and see."

The band last released new material with 2013's Comedown Machine, while 2015 saw them play a huge comeback gig at London's British Summer Time in Hyde Park.
