Gaz Coombes has reworked the Kinks Classic for a John Lewis advert.

The ex-Supergrass frontman's version of the 1970 classic soundtracks an ad to celebrate the brand’s 150th anniversary.

“It's such a cool track," Gaz commented. "I definitely wanted to retain the uplifting feel of the original while putting my own spin on it. The recording session was a lot of fun, loads of energy flying around. I reckon we definitely captured that vibe with this version”

This Time Tomorrow is available to download from iTunes now.

Gaz Coombes is currently busy in the studio putting the finishing touches to his second solo album, although he will break from the studio in the summer to play at a handful of UK festivals, to be announced shortly.
