The Walkmen and Reverend and the Makers for Sound City Festival

The Walkmen, Reverend and The Makers, Toy and - one of Radio X's Great Xpectations - The 1975 have all be confirmed for this year's Sound City Festival.

Swim Deep, Chapel Club and Egyptian Hip Hop are all also on the line up for the festival, which takes place in Liverpool May 2 04 2013.

The Wombats will also be doing a Q and A in the conference bit.

Sound City aims to showcase the best of talent from around the world - both new and established - with more than 350 bands playing in more than 25 venues over the 3 days.
