Michael Eavis talking at the Oxford Union

The festival founder mentioned the band when talking about this year's line-up at the Oxford Union.

Radiohead could be set for a special appearance at Glastonbury 2016, if this Q&A with Michael Eavis is anything to go by.

Footage has emerged which shows the festival founder mentioning the band in the same breath as billed acts while at the Oxford Union earlier this month.

Talking to a student at the Q&A, Eavis took the Glastonbury poster out of his pocket, saying: "The selection this year are amazing aren't they?"

He adds: "How about Underworld? You like Underworld," before saying: “How about Radiohead, do you like Radiohead? Yeah, they are good aren’t they?”

Well, that looks pretty promising to us!

The Octogenarian also hinted at a future headline slot from the band, adding: "Radiohead must be due for another crack at it."

While Radiohead certainly aren't headlining this year, this certainly adds fuel to rumours that the band could be set for a secret gig at the Somerset festival.

Meanwhile, Thom Yorke and co. got fans talking this week when they played their hit single, Creep, live for the first time in seven years.

With the band preparing to play London's Roundhouse this week from 26-28 May, their setlist at Paris' Zenith has had fans speculating about what to expect from their upcoming UK dates.
