Kaiser Chiefs open Glastonbury with "surprise" Other Stage set

The band have kicked off the first official day of music with a 45-minute set at The Other Stage.

Opening with the classic I Predict A Riot, singer Ricky Wilson asked the crowd: "Are we going to stick two fingers up at the sky?"

He then led the band through a set that comprised of the songs Never Miss A Beat, Everyday I Love You Less And Less, Coming Home, Meanwhile Up In Heaven. Ruby, The Angry Mob and Oh My God.

At last year's festival, Beady Eye had the honour of opening proceedings at the Other Stage.

Kaiser Chiefs will headline the John Peel Stage tonight (Friday 27 June), while Arcade Fire top the bill on the Pyramid Stage.
