Adele Announces Headline Slot At Glastonbury 2016 Onstage At O2 Arena Gig

The singer confirmed the news in a surprise announcement to her fans at the O2 Arena on Friday.
Adele has been confirmed for Glastonbury 2016.
In a surprise announcement, the Hello singer told her fans during a gig at London's O2 Arena on Friday 18 March, that she'll be headlining the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm on Saturday 25 June.
The news was also confirmed by Glastonbury on their official Twitter account.

Festival organiser Emily Eavis also said: "What a great honour it is to have the wonderful Adele confirmed for this year's Saturday night headline spot on the Pyramid Stage!"
The news comes after Emily Eavis previously teased in an interview with ID that "it would be great" to book Adele.
Back in 2015, the singer also denied she'd be playing the festival, telling Capital FM Breakfast: "the crowds are too big".
We guess she changed her mind!
Adele joins joins previously announced headliners Muse and Coldplay, who will play the festival on the Friday and Sunday night slot respectively.
