3. March: Pixies - Surfer Rosa
The Boston band had released a mini-album, Come On Pilgrim, in 1987, but this was their full length debut, produced by Steve Albini, who would later go on to work with Nirvana. Tracks include Bone Machine, Where Is My Mind and Gigantic.
