The trio have announced a huge homecoming show for Liverpool's Echo Arena in September, with tickets set to go on sale this Friday.
Having already won an Radio X Record of the Week this month with Greek Tragedy, The Wombats are gearing up nicely for the release of their album Glitterbug with the announcement of a massive homecoming show in Liverpool.
The three-piece will play the Echo Arena, which boasts a capacity of 11,000, on 26 September. Tickets go on sale this Friday, 30 January at 9am.
The majority of the band's upcoming UK tour is sold out but there are still some tickets available for the Birmingham, London and Newcastle dates.
Last week frontman Murph told Radio X's Danielle Perry: "We go completely and utterly insane if we're not doing shows from time to time, we're literally drooling at the moment to get out there," he said."
