The Killers

It will be the band's first UK show in two years...

Brandon Flowers' band have been signed up for the opening night of this year's Hard Rock Calling.

They're going to headline Hyde Park on June 24 - the rest of that day's line-up has yet to be announced.

The Killers last played the event in 2009.

Drummer Ronnie Vannucci had this to say about the Hyde Park show, "It's been too long, friends... Feels like forever since we've seen each other and now it's time we pay a visit. Have to get the machine oiled and ready to make this kinda thing happen more often. Feeling creative, let's do this."

Tickets for the Friday go an sale Thursday (April 21) at 9am.

Bon Jovi, Ryan Bingham and Evaline are playing on the Saturday.

Rod Stewart, Stevie Nicks, Adam Ant, Rumer, Train, Lighthouse Family, Mike and the Mechanics, Barenaked Ladies and James Walsh are all playing the Sunday.
