The band's famous symbol has popped up as rumours suggest a new single could be released this week.

Fans have spotted The Stone Roses' famous lemons around the UK today, fuelling reports the band could be releasing new music.

People have spotted what looks like a slightly upgraded version of the band's unmistakeable symbol, around Manchester.

Manchester record store Vinyl Revival got involved once again:

This fan just hopes it has nothing to do with Beyonce's Lemonade album.

As does this fan, who spotted a lemon poster outside Manchester's Piccadilly station.

The news comes as a fan who met Mani over the weekend, claimed the bassist told him the band were releasing a "new single" this week.

According the Lewis Jones, Mani also told him to "keep listening to the radio".

Very interesting.

The last time lemons popped up all over Manchester, the band announce their huge shows at Manchester's Etihad Stadium, so its fair to assume something huge is on its way.
