The Rolling Stones guitarist has been defending the high prices for tickets to their upcoming gigs.

Ronnie Wood says the Stones do not feel bad about the high prices for tickets to their up coming London gigs, saying: "We've got to make something."

The guitarist says preparations for the two shows at the O2 Arena later this month have cost them millions of pounds.

According to the Telegraph Wood said: "We've already spent a million on rehearsing in Paris. And the stage is going to be another few million. And the lights.

"We feel no bad thing about ticket prices. We've got to make something."

Prices for the 50th anniversary gigs range from £95 to a special VIP ticket at £950.
