The legendary rockers have announced details of a 15-date tour of North America, their first in 8 years.

The Rolling Stones are going back on the road. The iconic band have unveiled details of a 15-date tour of the US and Canada, with dates pencilled in for Detroit, Quebec and Buffalo. Tickets for the tour, which will be called ZIP CODE, go on sale on Monday 13 April.

Mick Jagger said:  "We are excited to be back in North America playing stadiums this summer!  We are looking forward to being back on stage." Keith added: "We love being out on the road and it is great to come back to North America! I can't wait to get back on the stage!"

The "A Bigger Bang Tour" was the last time the Stones played a similar tour of the US, with a series of shows than ran from 2005-07.

The tour will coincide with the re-release of classic album Sticky Fingers, which features classic hits like Wild Horses and Brown Sugar. It was first released in 1971.
