Ronnie Wood has told Radio X about their new material and its bluesy sound.
The Rolling Stones could be set to release a new studio album by the end of the year, according to Ronnie Wood.
Speaking to Radio X at the opening night for their exhibition in London, the guitarist said: "We went on a blues streak and we cut 11 (tracks) in three days”.
The release would mark the first time since the Sympathy For The Devil rockers have put out a new album in 11 years, following 2005's A Bigger Bang and making it their 30th studio album.
The Rolling Stones Exhibitionism - which hosts the largest exhibition of Stones memorabilia - is at the Saatchi gallery from 5 April - 5 September 2016.
