It is being reported The Rolling Stones are after Adele to be one of the big names on the bill for their Hyde Park shows this summer.

The band are playing two nights in the central London park - July 6 and July 13 - with The Vaccines, The Temper Trap, Jake Bugg and Tom Odell among the acts comfirmed to support.

However The Sun has been told that The Stones are still after some major names to join them on stage.

A source told the paper:

"The Stones would love to get Adele on with them. It would be a massive coup, even for them, because she's been a bit reclusive since her son Angelo James was born.

"She is the name they want to announce as their special guest - and their invite should be special enough to get her out on stage."

The source added that it is 50/50 whether the Someone Like You singer will do it, "but Mick is quietly confident he can pull it off."

The Rolling Stones are headlining this year's Glastonbury.
