Red Hot Chili Peppers Frontman Undergoes Surgery

According to a statement on their website the frontman "underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot".

He's expected to make a full recovery though.

They've had to postpone more than twenty shows stateside.
