Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie Flown Home "With Cracked Vertebrae"

The Scottish rocker was hospitalised after falling off stage at Switzerland's Caribana Festival.
Bobby Gillespie has been flown home with what is believed to be a cracked vertebrae, after falling off a seven foot speaker stack at Switzerland's Caribana festival.
A picture of the Primal Scream frontman's condition has been posted on the band's official Facebook page, alongside the caption: "FEEL LIKE GOING HOME".

When the accident was first reported, the Chaosmosis band took to Twitter to thank fans for their concerns and well wishes.

Primal Scream are set to play several European dates in June and July, before playing Britain's Beat-Herder festival in Sawley in Lancashire on 15 July.
The band are yet to confirm any news on the status of these gigs on social media, but according to Expose, representatives of the band have told WENN that an announcement will be made today (Wednesday 8 June).
