The Story Of Oasis To Be Made Into A Documentary

The creators behind this year's Amy Winehouse biopic and the Spike Island film are reported to be working on the project.

The story of the rise and fall of Oasis is finally being turned into a documentary. The team behind Amy, the Amy Winehouse film, will be the main driving force behind the picture.

In a report from Screen Daily, James Gay-Rees and Asif Kapadia are you be given "unprecedented" access to the band, as well as loads of unseen and archive footage.

Independent Film Sales are expected to launch the movie at a special film festival AFM between November 4th and 11th.

 Speaking on the film, Andrew Orr of Independent Film Sales said "Oasis are without doubt one of the classic British rock bands, selling 70 million albums worldwide and defining the sound of a whole era. At its heart are Liam and Noel Gallagher, two of the finest rock ‘n’ roll stars this country has ever produced."

Noel Gallagher recently appeared on stage with U2 at their O2 Arena show in London.
