Liam Hits Out At Rowdy Oasis Fans

Last night's Oasis show at the London Roundhouse kicked off when a visibly angry Liam Gallagher railed against the audience after some fans threw beer at the singer.

The gig, which was part of the iTunes Festival and was broadcast live by Radio X, was marred by some grumbling from the younger Gallagher after the opening song 'Rock And Roll Star' was accompanied by several pints of lager being thrown from the audience in the direction of the stage.

Liam railed against "You students with your pointy shoes", adding, "I hope you feel as uncomfortable as I do." After he briefly left the stage to make way for his brother's turn on 'The Masterplan', Noel commented, "Someone's in a bad mood".

Earlier, Noel had told Radio X's Steve Harris that Liam was "a perfectionist at overreacting. He's got nothing to Twitter about, so he tweets about something every day."

Meanwhile in exclusive Radio X news, Noel Gallagher admitted he'd like to take up the offer of his own Radio X show... and he'd do it for free! "I've always thought between 2 and 4 in the morning would be great," he explained. "If you could swear. You give me that gig, those figures will be bigger than breakfast. We'd just peruse the papers and say, look at this toerag here. I'd do that for free!"
