The former Oasis singer has set the record straight after posting cryptic messages on Twitter.

Liam Gallagher has denied an Oasis reunion is on the cards, but has confirmed he is working on new music.

The Some Might Say singer took to Twitter to set the record straight, after sending cryptic tweets earlier today (1 July), which suggested he was in the studio.

Hinting at a recent interview where Noel appeared to accuse him of trying to stay "relevant", he later tweeted: "Listen up no oasis reunion Rkids not into it I am hes to busy being beige new sounds on there way stay cool and most of all relevant LG x"

So we guess that's that then?

The news comes as the Oasis documentary, Supersonic, prepares for release this October.

Talking about the film, Noel Gallagher recently suggested that his outspoken brother Liam gets off pretty lightly in the film.

According to the Daily Star, the In The Heat Of The Moment rocker said: “I’m a bit too close to judge it, aren’t I? Liam comes out of it well though.

“I’ve been on tour and making records, so I’m kinda not really in the fucking mood for jumping on to something that happened 20 years ago.

Noel Gallagher also previously joked that he'd only reunite with his brother for a whopping "£20 million".
