Representatives of the former Oasis star have said the news "is not true".
Liam Gallagher has denied rumours that he's retiring.
The Sun earlier reported that the former Oasis singer drunkenly spilled the beans to a fan while out in London, by saying: "I am retired now. I can write 25 songs but all of them will be a shit.”
However, Gallagher's representatives have now denied the reports, telling NME: ""In true tabloid style it's not true".
Meanwhile, Liam hasn't done much to extinguish the rumours in recent months.
First the Definitely Maybe star denied a solo record was on the cards:
Solo record are you fucking tripping dickhead im not a cunt LG X— Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher) January 4, 2016
Then he suggested he was glad he got out of the music business when he did during his foul-mouthed BRIT Awards rant.
Music in the UK has been abducted by massive cunts THE END LG x— Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher) February 24, 2016
Thank fuck I got out when I got out out LG x— Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher) February 24, 2016
