The Oasis man also appeared to include his brother, Noel, in his apology.

Liam Gallagher has apologised for his tweet about Russian hooligans, following the reports of the violence in France during Euro 2016.

The Some Might Say singer was accused of using insensitive and homophobic language, after he wrote on Twitter: "Russian hooligans skintight shorts bumbags batty boy muscles ha ha I'd be more worried bout getting me arse pinched LG X"

However, the outspoken Oasis man has since apologised to anyone who he "upset with his tweets," while appearing to add his brother - Noel Gallagher - in the mix too.

See his tweet below:

Despite not mentioning his brother by name, could be referring to previous tweets which appeared to be aimed at his sibling and former bandmate.

Producer David Holmes recently described Gallagher's third studio effort as "fun," telling Gigwise "people are going to be surprised" by it.

However, Mr LG wasn't impressed, and decided to let Twitter know just what he thought by calling Holmes a "yes man" and his brother a "potato".

And it seems Liam wasn't too impressed with the idea of their Oasis film premiere taking place in London either:
