Liam and Noel Gallagher

According to reports, The Ballad Of The Mighty I singer thinks his brother and ex Oasis bandmate sits at home Googling his name.

Noel Gallagher is reportedly considering joining Twitter to annoy his estranged sibling, Liam.

According to the Daily Star, Gallagher has addressed the former Oasis frontman's jibes at him on the social media platform, saying: “Liam sits at home in a rocking chair Googling my name thinking of witty tweets.”

The Ballad Of The Mighty singer is of course referring to the numerous occasions where his brother and ex-bandmate has poked fun of him on Twitter by calling him a "potato".

According to Supersonic director Mat Whitecross, Noel and Liam Gallagher's volatile relationship - and particularly Liam's outbursts on Twitter - meant the upcoming Oasis documentary almost never happened.

As NME reports, Whitecross revealed: “Just before we were about to make the film and it looked like it was good, he tweeted that he was backstage at a Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds gig and I was like 'Fuck this is brilliant maybe we can get them both in together'.

"Then about three days later there was another one of him calling Noel a potato or whatever it is he calls him and so it fell apart again and at that point it didn't look like the film was going to happen.”

However, regardless of all the drama, the film maker still reckons an Oasis reunion will eventually happen, saying: "Neither of them have discounted the idea of getting back together. It will happen, I'm sure."
