Matt Bellamy Tweets Following Pro-Brexit Rumours

A reporter claimed earlier this week that the Drones singer voted to leave the European Union.
Muse's Matt Bellamy has tweeted a response to the claims he's pro-Brexit.
The Hysteria star hit the headlines this week, after The Sun journalist Harry Cole - who was at the CNN Presidential election party - claimed he voted to leave the EU.
So, what have we learnt so far tonight? At the CNN party it turns out that @MattBellamy, the lead singer of Muse voted for Brexit.— Harry Cole (@MrHarryCole) November 9, 2016
The rumour appeared to be backed up by Independent writer, Jacob Stolworthy, who joked he was "staying at the bar".
At the @CNN election party and Muse frontman Matt Bellamy is here. Word is he voted for Brexit; I'm staying at the bar...— Jacob Stolworthy (@Jacob_Stol) November 9, 2016
However, Bellamy took to Twitter to correct Cole and assert he is only for #SoftBrexit.

Meanwhile, the Drones star has also responded to recent reports that he wants to try and make a hip-hop album, and suggested he may go acoustic instead.
When a fan asked him to bring back the "old rock muse," he replied: "Ha that was last album! May have to dust off the old acoustic guitar, been a while".

That clears that up then.
