The band sent out details to their mailing list of a special show at Brighton Dome Corn Exchange on Monday 27 April.
Tickets were only available to those people who had signed up to the Mumfords' website.
However, to stop new songs being leaked before their third album, Wilder Mind, is released, they are asking gig-goers to check their phones in before the music starts.
In an email to the Mumford And Sons database, the organisers said: "As this show is happening pre-album release, the band have requested all mobile phone and recording devices to be prohibited inside the venue."
So leave that tape recorder at home.
